Role 

Develop, nurture and close qualified leads and work with prospects to identify opportunities where Skillnet can provide significant CX solutions in ecommerce modernization and UI/UX/mobile design and development to help prospect grow their revenues.  This is a sales quota carrying role. You will be assigned a mutually agreed region, channel partner, target list of a combination thereof. You will also be trained on SkillNet’s capabilities, references, case studies and other practice material and provided technical and business presales support and marketing support. We are looking for a proven sales leader who will build a pipeline of qualified opportunities in the market through top of the funnel campaigns, events, partner channel sales efforts or leveraging his/her strong network and relationships in the CX/digital commerce domain. This role will also be responsible for qualifying, nurturing and closing these opportunities with help from presales, and farming these further for future business until transitioned to account management.

 

Minimum Education: 

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Technology or equivalent.

 

Minimum Experience (by work and in years): 

  • Minimum 15 years, with progressive increase in responsibilities in one of more of Business Development, Marketing and Direct Sales, including obtaining new Logos with a minimum of 10 years in e-commerce, cx and related sales.
  • Must have hands-on experience responding to RFP and developing SOW with internal team of Presales and Technical Solution Engineers and developers. 
  • Knowledge of different e-commerce platforms is critical, Be familiar with at least one modern/headless/composable platform.
  • Recent and relevant selling experience working in either a professional services organization focused on one or more of these ecommerce platforms OR directly for one or more of these platforms – Salesforce Commerce Cloud/ demandware, SAP Commerce Cloud/ Hybris, Oracle Commerce/ ATG/OCC, Adobe Magento, BigCommerce, Vtex, Spryker, Commerce Tools or Mirakl.Very strong customer presence and communication skills. Must be able to support e-commerce discovery workshops with senior client stake holders. Evaluate solutions, detailed technical and commercial proposals received from Pre Sales and Solutions Team. Once these are understood, be able to present and defend such proposals.

 

Must-Have Skills & Experience: 

  • Good understanding of the overall digital commerce technology landscape including e-commerce systems, content management systems, product information management systems, digital asset management systems, personalization systems and others.
  • Knowledge of B2B, B2C, Marketplace and other e-commerce business models, as well as omnichannel customer journeys.

 

Good to have Skills & Experience 

  • Experience working with a large consulting firm like Accenture, Deloitte etc. or a boutique digital commerce consulting firm.
  • Some pre-sales experience.
